During the Dia de Lempira Celebration this year the National Honduran Congress held sessions in the City of Gracias and they selected the Colina San Cristobal Conference room for the event.

Lempira Day Celebration was a wonderful event this year. It seems that every year the event keeps getting better and better. You only have to see the customs and arrangements to be in awe to the effort that the citizens from the City of Gracias make to celebrate Lempira Day and to honor Chief Lempira the first and greatest hero of our nation.
